Basic Game Play
Much like football, the idea of the game is for each side to advance through the defensive line of the opposing team to reach the other side of the pitch. The main goal is to touch the ball on the ground (Try) past the goal line.

More Game Play
Players only pass sideways and backwards. No blocking is allowed. Kicking is the only way teams can move forward. Play is continuous, even after players are tackled.

Tackling, Rucks, Mauls
A TACKLE is at least 1 knee on the ground. Once tackled the player MUST release the ball. A RUCK forms when opposing players on their feet encounter a loose ball. A MAUL is when 3 or more players advance the ball carrier through pushing forward to gain ground.

Scoring
Try is like a touchdown, it's 5 Points. Conversion is like an extra point or PAT, it's 2 points. Penalty goal is like a penalty kick, but a field goal caused by a penalty. It's 3 points.
